We are absolutely thrilled to welcome York singer-songwriter Chris Helme to the NWMA stage!

Rising to fame in the 1990s as the powerhouse frontman of John Squire’s post-Stone Roses project, Chris helped define an era with the timeless tracks on the Do It Yourself album. Today, he continues to charm audiences across the UK with his raw, beautifully bruised melodies and acclaimed acoustic folk music.

This special performance lands right in the middle of his autumn tour and aligns perfectly with Barrow Music Week 2026. If you love classic indie, storytelling and exceptional vocals, this is a night you cannot miss!
